About Me
My name is Elise. I am a video editor and content creator with over eight years of personal experience creating engaging short-form content for social media. My passion lies in combining storytelling, precision editing, and creative direction to produce videos that capture attention and connect with audiences.
Outside of editing, sports have always been a huge part of my life. As a lifelong hockey fan born and raised in Dallas, I grew up cheering for the Dallas Stars, and my love for sports has expanded to include Formula 1 and Major League Baseball. That passion for sports and the communities built around them is what inspires much of my creative work and fuels my excitement to create my content.
Editing Softwares
Adobe After Effects
I primarily edit on Video Star, but I also spent nearly two years editing with Adobe After Effects, building a strong foundation in motion graphics and advanced editing techniques. While my recent work has focused on Video Star, I learn new software quickly and am confident in my ability to refresh my After Effects skills and adapt to professional editing workflows.
Video Star
Video Star has been my primary editing software throughout my eight years of creating short-form content. Working within a mobile editing environment has strengthened my creativity and problem-solving abilities, encouraging me to find innovative solutions while maintaining a polished, professional final product. More than the software itself, my experience has taught me the fundamentals of compelling video editing.
CapCut
I regularly use CapCut to enhance my projects through audio design and sound editing. From synchronizing music and sound effects to adding voiceovers, I use CapCut to create a cohesive viewing experience that complements the visual storytelling.
